THE TIBETAN MASTIFF IS NO LONGER A RARE BREED. IN RECENT YEARS, MANY PEOPLE HAVE BOUGHT AND BRED ANY TWO TIBETAN MASTIFFS THEY COULD GET WITH THE THOUGHT OF MAKING A LOT OF MONEY AND NOW THERE ARE TONS AND TONS OF THEM FOR SALE. MOST HAVE SIMLIAR PEDIGREES. DON'T SPEND THOUSANDS WHEN YOU CAN GET THEM FOR AS LOW AS $400.00. CERTAINLY DON'T PAY IN EXCESS OF $2000.00 OR MORE. THAT IS JUST SILLY. I WOULD URGE YOU TO SEE THE HEALTH TEST RESULTS AS MANY OF THESE DOGS MAY NOT HAVE BEEN TESTED. YOU MAY ALSO WANT TO CONTACT BLUE LION RESCUE.

WARNING! "COULD" BUYING AN AKC DOG PUT YOU AT RISK TO BE ATTACKED ON SOCIAL MEDIA "HATE SITES"? I BELIEVE SO. WITH SO MUCH MONEY RIDING ON THE DOGS they try to keep unsatisfied customers "silent" with hateful intimidation tactics. I would be happy to share links to these self proclaimed "ELITIIST'S" Facebook "HATE" sites with you so you can see for yourself. Based on what I have seen it is done all in the name of selling dogs, website products, magazine articles, cards, etc. EMAIL ME FOR LINKS. Why? I believe it is all about the money; not the dogs. I do respect the AKC breeders who are not partaking in this unethical behavior and I and you should take note of the names of those breeders who are participating on these "HATE" sites. Just remember it could be you, their come after next. Think about it. This site is about my experience with AKC breeders and people who make a living off dogs. It is basically a generalization of the characteristics it has taken me seven years to realize. If you ask questions, they will attack you. If you question them, they will attack you. They are a very nasty group of people I.M.O. I believe the root of all these nasty people is the AKC; based on what I have witnessed. Again, just my opinion. I see how they attack people and when it comes right down to it; it's about show competition and dog sales. That is why I won't register my dogs with AKC. After years of seeing all the ins and outs, the ways they slander and lie about people, I refuse to give AKC another dime. It's not about one breeder or another; it's about the whole system that allows them to act like they do. Here is my suggestions for finding a Tibetan Mastiff puppy. I have no reason to "attack" somebody. I don't live off dogs or show them. I don't care about so called "championships" because I think it is just a waste of time, money, and a scam. I only generalize based on my direct experiences over the past seven years.

I have found it funny to see how the old saying "what goes around comes around" works. Many of these people starting these "HATE SITES" told me to stay away from one breeder because they were well let's just say a little rough with their wording and they had a reputation for suing everybody. For all the breeders who have been in the breed a long time, you know what I am talking about so you must find these breeders now setting up their "HATE SITES" and threatening to sue their disatified customers amusing! From what I see there are three main people in this circle. I was told from the beginning one was a "puppy mill" by several people. It appears all three do not have jobs. One is probably on public assistance as I was told by them that nothing is in their name. Quite a group!. All very good at deception. Good luck to those who fall for the bait. PLEASE LOOK AT THE NAMES OF THE MEMBER ON THESE "HATE SITES" and be sure to go to anybody that is not on those list. Remember, it could be you next. I guess they are finding it hard to take what they have been dishing out for years. I saw it a while ago and I haven't been in the breed nearly as long as many. I don't know the entire history because I haven't been in the breed that long, but what from what I have seen; none of it makes sense. First they don't like the breeder because they "supposedly" don't have a contract; now they don't like the breeder because they do have a contract but they don't like it. One has to ask, why do these "Elite" hate mongers want this breeder's dogs if they hate them so much? Why get their dogs in unscruptulous ways and use them in your breeding program? Why not buy your own dogs from overseas or something? The only thing I can figure is they are all NUTS.

I AM NOT TRYING TO MAKE PUPPY SALES WITH THE INFORMATION ON THIS SITE. I AM NOT A BIG TIME BREEDER; NOR A THREAT TO ANY OTHER BREEDER. I AM NOT BREEDING FOR MONEY, OR THE SHOW RING. I AM NOT ABOUT "CONVINCING" YOU TO BUY A PUPPY FROM ME. I JUST HOPE TO SAVE SOMEBODY ALL THE GRIEF AND HEARTACHE I EXPERIENCED WITH AKC SHOW BREEDERS AND TO BE CAREFUL OF THOSE NOW MIGRATING TO UKC TO BOOST THEIR PUPPY SALES. JUST GO TO ALL THE PUPPY Sites AND YOU CAN FIND HOARDS OF EM. THEY ARE NOT A "RARE" BREED ANYMORE; THAT IS FOR SURE. YOU WILL FIND BIG ONES, SMALL ONES, GOLD ONES, RED ONES AND EVERY OTHER COLOR YOU CAN IMAGINE IN A PRICE RANGE THAT FITS YOUR BUDGET. LOTS OF CHOICES. DON'T LET THE "FEAR MONGERS" WORRY YOU. GET WHAT YOU LIKE AND JUST BE HAPPY. JUST REMEMBER THE TIBETAN MASTIFF IS NOT FOR EVERYBODY. THEY ARE A 'GUARD" DOG . THEY TAKE THE JOB OF GUARDING "THEIR" FAMILIES SERIOUSLY AND AS SUCH, NEED TO BE INTRODUCED TO ALL THOSE ENTERING YOUR HOME.

I urge everybody to be wary of some self proclaimed "Elitists" within the Tibetan Mastiff community who actually think like this and call good people 'terrorists" among other names and make slanderous statements about them. Would you trust a person who resorts to this type of slander and name-calling? Believe it or not but some people in the "dog world" actually think like this. I think it is over the top. What causes people to behave like this? When people have such little respect for their fellow man; do their words mean anything? In a way I feel sorry for people like this and whatever disorder may be causing this behavior. Instead of making enemies with everybody on the planet; their hate is preventing them from actually getting to know the good people whom they are spreading slanderous lies about. This is certainly a mystery to me. When simple acts of kindness triggers these reactions; there is no explanation. These "Elitists" have pretty much alienated themselves from breeders around the globe. I do not think it is normal at all. AKC is the root of this problem in my opinion. It all boils down to "competition" and money. It's not about the dogs. The lack of policing of it's registry is the problem. If they were doing the job that they are being paid to do; there would not be the "fraud" that causes all this insane behavior. They need to "keep people honest" and most of the slander and mud slinging would go away. The competition causes people to lie and do unethical things. These are the people who make threats on others at dog shows, and believe people with questionable histories at best sight unseen. These are the rumor mongers who spread rumors without actually having any facts or personal knowledge. These people will continue to "bash" other people's dogs but like I always say; buy what you like and don't listen to what these "consumed" people will tell you. Let them live in their own little perfect "Tibetan Mastiff" world, whatever that may be but remember that they themselves readily admit what I have been saying all along - "championships" mean absolutely nothing. They can be bought. AKC is all about the money and it creates hate by letting the things it does go on. Listen to your heart and when you find the right dog, you will both know it. I hope you will sign the petition for the AKC to require DNA testing which I believe will put an end and help to stop "over zealous" people from abusing people whom they feel are a threat to them and most importantly from "using" the animals that cannot speak for themselves.

This site is made up of my opinions formed on my direct experiences. I have noticed that some breeders who consider themselves "elitists" are quick to judge others. I am not here to tell you who to buy your puppy from. I am only telling you what has happened to me and try to help you sift through all the B.S. about breeders who claim to be "better than everybody else". They will tell you to only buy from breeders who will take their dogs back. Well, ask them, how many dogs have you taken back? They will tell you they are "experts". Well, ask them how many Tibetan Mastiffs have they owned and how many have they bred? You have every right to ask them every question they will ask of you on their "Puppy Questionnaires". What is fair is fair. Ask them for their vets information, ask them for a list of all their puppy buyers so you can call them and not let them "cherry pick" whose name they will give you. Ask them if their dogs are kept inside with them as part of their family? Turn the tables on them and if they refuse to give you all the information they are asking of you; I would be a little skeptical.

SOMETIMES BREEDERS WILL GIVE YOU A PUPPY FOR FREE OR A REDUCED RATE IN EXCHANGE FOR YOU BEING REQUIRED TO BREED IT AND GIVE THEM BACK ONE OR TWO "PICK" PUPPIES. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS AT ALL AS THIS IS HOW I GOT SUCKED INTO AN UNSCRUPULOUS DEAL AND HOW I BECAME FAMILIAR WITH UNETHICAL PRACTICES. THIS IS CALLED THE PYRAMID SCHEME. YOU DO ALL THE WORK AND THEY REAP THE REWARDS BY TAKING YOUR PICK. THIS GIVES THEM THE "APPEARANCE" OF NOT BEING A "HIGH VOLUME BREEDER" AND / OR "ETHICAL". THEY LET OTHERS TAKE THE HEAT FOR ANY HEALTH OR OTHER QUESTIONS IN THE FUTURE AND THROW THE UNSUSPECTING VICTIM UNDER THE BUS OR EVEN WORSE; ATTACK THEM ON THEIR SOCIAL MEDIA "HATE SITES".

I HAVE BEEN JUDGED BY "ELITISTS" WHOM HAVE NEVER MET ME. SOME HAVE PRE JUDGED ME MERELY FOR SPEAKING TO PEOPLE THEY DO NOT AGREEE WITH EVEN THOUGH I DO EVERYTHING THEY SAY SHOULD BE DONE. I saw a dog advertised on puppyfind related to my dog and they were asking an exorbitant amount of money for it. Knowing the mom was bred by the breeder of my puppy and he had been suspended by the AKC, I was curious how this puppy's name was changed because I have paid the AKC to register many dogs in the past. I wondered what I was paying them to do. I thought to myself, how can a dog from a suspended breeder be registered with AKC? I also wondered how somebody could charge so much money for a puppy who mom was only one year old and untested? So I asked. Because I wanted to know what rights I really had as an owner when paying AKC. What I found out was that you could be attacked by these crazy people for asking relevant questions on their social media "HATE SITES". I thought you were not able to change Kennel names because I thought the AKC was supposed to be registry of "integrity". I wanted to know why I should pay them money to register my dog. I wanted to know if I was wasting my money and what rights I had as an owner. What I found out was they exact opposite. Just for asking questions to educate myself about what I was paying the AKC to do I found out that people can buy a dog from you and the AKC will register it under a different name. I found out that I would basically be wasting my money to do it and I also found out that just by asking questions, or sharing your experiences with somebody you will become a target of these ill people. Trust me; you do not want an AKC registered dog. It is nothing but trouble.ALL I CAN SAY IS IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE ATTACKED ON THESE SO-CALLED ETHICAL BREEDERS SOCIAL MEDIA "HATE" SITES, My advice is not to BUY AN AKC REGISTERED DOG. I have already asked the questions and found the answers.

Here is a sample of the rumors spread by people about a breeder. This breeder was not in jail, had not lost his right to breed, or own dogs. They were only suspended from the AKC (because of retaliation by the AKC I.M.O.) yet AKC still registered his dog without his knowledge. I believe their suspension was based only on these types of rumors and the fact they were boycotting the AKC because the AKC seems to allow this stuff to go on. Who in their right mind would want to register their dogs with a registry that believes these things? The following emails were forwarded to me by this breeder.

quote " If you would have told me your new phone number his would not have happened, I heard you went to jail, lost your right to breed and couldn't have dogs anymore. This was not from xxxxxx she knows not to gossip with me, I won't take the BS. I don't like negative comments or anyone talking about people. Plus she doesn't seem negative at all, she is always happy on the phone. " unquote

The following was written by the same person and again forwarded to me. The person is admitting they were able to register the breeder's dog without his permission by threatening the AKC with a lawsuit. The breeder was suspended by the AKC and apparently they registered the dog anyway. What does that say about your dog's safety when registering with the AKC ?

I don't always agree with people, but is that a reason to spread rumors that they are in jail? I personally do not think so . These people are truly ill, accusing those who have "saved" dogs of doing harm and other outrageous, slanderous, lies. The emails were forwarded to me and these are not my words. I have found that those people selling breeder services on websites are the ones more likely spreading these rumors. They are the ones with money riding on sales. I have known a few who have spread these kind of rumors without ever meeting the person they are defaming. They also present themselves as being ethical. I have found this to be untrue. Remember, follow the money! Again, I am not selling puppies with this site. I am just appalled at the behavior of people that I have met since buying my first Tibetan Mastiff.

This is why everybody should get everything in writing. If you are a breeder you should be putting DNA on file and make sure you get vet reports from puppy buyers when they pass. Otherwise it is quite possible that people will spread rumors about health and genetics on dog's bred by somebody they don't like. Believe it or not? I am still having a hard time understanding why these people saying these awful rumors are using this breeder's dogs in their breeding programs? If you really believe this stuff; why not stay away , don't buy their dogs, and don't use them in your breedings? Weird . AKC has ignored my emails so why would I pay them to have this possibly happen to me? The only way AKC could convince me to register a dog with them is to require DNA of parents be on parents before the breedings are done and to give me the courtesy of responding to my emails and questions. Otherwise what good are they to me? If you bought a puppy from a person who spreads these types of rumors; what would they say about you as a puppy owner if you did something they didn't like? I would be very careful who you are dealing with.
